The value of the whole bag is $25.48 well worth the $10 a month. If you love lip products this is a great subscription for you.
With a little of our tax refund I treated myself with a yearly subscription to Ipsy. It is a monthly subscription of beauty products catered to your likes and dislikes. You take a short quiz and they give you products based off of that. Here is what I got this month.
I was very happy with this month's bag. Great products and things I will use for sure.
First off the bag is so cute. If you subscribe you know you get a different bag each month and this one is very cute.
Now to the products. Let's start with the samples (I only got three YAY!). Pur~lisse cleanser and makeup remover. I love the brand and never had this before so this is very exciting.
It goes great with the next product. LeeAnni Eco 3 in 1 Revolution Light. This is a toner, serum, and moisturizer in one. It is a time saver and great to take traveling with you.
Next is a cute eyeshadow duo from Pixi by Petra. I have several products from them that I like and this is no exception. This duo is a sample from their Mesmerizing Mineral Palette. The colors are shades I do love to wear so I know I will get much use out of it.
Now for the lippy. It is a NYX Butter lipstick in Little Susie. It is so cute and pink. It is a $6 lipstick and I am so happy to get it in this bag.
Lastly is the best thing in the bag (in my option that is) Crown Brush infinity Shadow/Crease duet brush. Enough said. It is an all in one eye brush.
This bag with just the lipstick and brush is well worth the money and I cannot wait for more.
This month's theme is Hustle. Not sure what that is all about but this box does make me want to get busy using the products.
First off Beauty Box 5 is a monthly subscription that is $12 a month and comes with 5 (ha who would have guessed) sample of beauty and personal care items. Sometimes you will get some nice full products too. This month there is 3 full sizes makeup products. That made me very happy. So let's get into this box.
Let us start with the small samples. In the packet is 4 foil packets of different skin care products. It is Eslor Introductory Collection- Second Edition. It comes with two different masks, one cleanser, and one cream. Full priced at retail varies from $28 to $38 and even $85. That is crazy.
The next sample is Elite Therapeutics - Rosemary Eucalptus Body Cream. I love body creams and this is an organic one. The price at retail is $19.
The last 3 are all full size products. First is the Scandalous by Nanacoco. It is a thickening mascara. I love mascara so this is very nice. I love trying new brands and I know I will be using this. Retail price is $4.99.
Next to go with that mascara is Styli-Style Line & Seal Twist Mechanical Eye Liner. I am not that much into eyeliner so I will most likely give this away. Retail price $4.99.
Last is something for the lips (YAY). Laugh Out Loud by Nanacoco Lip Gloss. I love the color and I cannot wait to try this on. Retail price $3.99.
Now this box is very nice. I will use most of these products. The value of the box is more than $14.47. I cannot give a good price of the foil packs so I just added up the value of everything else.
So its been awhile since I posted a parody. I recently discovered a "Parody" artist named Toddrick Hall who is just amazing. I grew up listening to Weird Al and Da Vinci's Notebook and he fits into what I love to listen to so well. With Disney Themed music and music based around his love of dance.
He has a large repertoire of music which I am glad to share with all of you.
Freaks Like Me
Snow White and The Seven Thugs
Twerking in the Rain
Grown Woman
and many more.
This month's theme is Celebrate in Style. And wow Boxy Charm has topped itself this month for me. I have got a few boxes already and by far this is my favorite. Now lets get to the products.
I like surprises like I have said before. And what is better than a gift of makeup every month? Lip Monthly is just that, for $10 a month you get 4 to have lip products and it is a surprise every time. This subscription only came out mid last year and is already one of my favorites. I am a lip junkie and this service gives me what I want. Lets get to it then,
This is going to be a quick short post about the site totalbeauty.com I recently made a purchase of some of there collection grab bags. They are having a sale for 2 of their collections for $30 (that is $10 off) I could not help myself. I got the Bombshall grab bag, the Must Haves grab bag and finally the Total Beauty "Spice" stocking stuffer.
Let us first start off with the idea of a grab bag. I love this idea I do like to know what I am getting and I like to get surprised. So the little hints make you want to get these bags. Or that is just me.
I will start with the stocking stuffer bag. Sadly I knew what was going to be in it that is why I got the "spice" one. It was the only one I was not surprised about. I got 5 items in it. A full size NYX Glam Lip Gloss. A full size Too Faced Lip Insurance (which is why I got this set), deluxe size EvolvH shampoo and conditioner, and finally a sample size of Juara Candlenut Body creme. This set is well worth the $7.99 price tag. The value is at $36 for the products
Next is the Must-Haves grab bag. I got this because it is a "must-have". Not sure why I was sold on that but I was and that is ok I am happy with it. First off I was hoping for more makeup products but this set has some good products that I am excited to try. It came with 4 full size products, a Dove go sleeveless anti-perspirant deodrant, a NYX roll on shimmer in Blue, a Neutrogena naturals lip balm, and a Lollies hair tie. Out of all those I am only disappointed in the hair tie. The set also included some interesting samples, a LashFood (it is to help you lashes grow), a Go Smile teeth whitening gel (the tube is good for a week), and finally an other Juara Candlenut body creme. This set is not what I was thinking but I am glad I did buy it. The value is over $65.
The last grab bag I got was the Bombshell grab bag. Again I was hoping for more makeup but I am pretty happy with the products I got. There is 4 full size products, Another Dove go sleeveless deodrant, a Gabriel nail & cuticle conditioner, a Semi DiLino Cristalli Liquidi Illuminating Serum, and a NYX color lip balm. Also the samples are a Honest Company face & body lotion, a Nelson 7 in 1 non-foaming shampoo, a Dove pure care dry oil, 3 Nelson moisture healing masks in different scents (rosemary mint, pomegranate, and coconut), And lastly I got a Gleam by Melanie Mills body radiance. I am thinking this is a primer lol I do not even know. The value of the set is over $60.
All in all I am very happy with Total Beauty and their grab bags. If you have a chance and find a great sale I would say take the chance.
So there was a big sale going on eyeslipsface.com . I could not pass up. So I got me some of their limited edition holiday sets. I already got as a gift their elf lips set. Which I also posted a few posts back on holiday lip sets. But the rest in this haul was all from the site.
